Philippines Grants Visa-Free Entry to Indian Travellers from June 8, 2025

New Travel Opportunity: 14 or 30 Days Visa-Free Access to the Philippines

Indian passport holders can now explore the Philippines without a visa, starting June 8, 2025. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has introduced a new policy enabling short-term tourism access for Indian nationals, offering two visa-free durations based on travel credentials.

This move is part of the Philippines’ strategic push to boost inbound tourism from India, one of its fastest-growing source markets.

14-Day Visa-Free Entry for All Indian Tourists

For quick vacations or business-leisure combos, Indian travellers can now enjoy a 14-day visa-free stay without needing prior approvals.

Requirements:

• A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond departure

• Proof of accommodation bookings

• Sufficient funds for the trip

• Return or onward flight ticket

Note: This 14-day entry is strictly non-extendible and non-convertible into any other visa category.

30-Day Visa-Free Entry for AJACSSUK Visa Holders

Indian travellers holding valid visas or residence permits from the U.S., Japan, Australia, Canada, Schengen countries, Singapore, or the UK (AJACSSUK) can now stay visa-free for up to 30 days.

Documents Needed:

• Valid Indian passport (6+ months validity)

• Valid AJACSSUK visa/residence permit

• Confirmed onward or return flight

This extended stay option is ideal for seasoned international travellers exploring the Philippines in depth.

Important Conditions to Note

• Visa-free entries apply only to tourism.

• Access is allowed through any Philippine port of entry.

• No derogatory immigration record with the Philippines is permitted.

• Visa-free entries cannot be extended or converted to other visa types.
  
  

e-Visa Option Still Available

Indian citizens still have the option to apply for a Philippine e-Visa through evisa.gov.ph. This is ideal for travellers needing extra flexibility or planning non-tourism-related travel.

Direct Flights from India: Delhi–Manila Launch by Air India

To support this visa update, Air India will launch direct flights from Delhi to Manila starting October 1, 2025. The service will run five times a week using an Airbus A321neo.
