IndiGo Expands Udaipur Connectivity with Two New Direct Routes

IndiGo is strengthening domestic air access to one of Rajasthan’s most in-demand leisure destinations with new direct flights to Udaipur from Noida International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport. For B2B travel professionals, this move adds more flexibility for leisure packages, corporate itineraries, and weekend getaways.

The airline will begin daily Noida-Udaipur services on October 25, followed by Navi Mumbai-Udaipur flights starting November 15. The expansion reflects the growing importance of tier-1 and emerging metro airports in India's domestic aviation network.

Route Timings and Launch Dates

The Noida-Udaipur flight will depart at 1:30 pm and land in Udaipur at 3:10 pm. The return sector will leave Udaipur at 6:20 pm and arrive in Noida at 8:00 pm.

The Navi Mumbai-Udaipur service is scheduled to depart at 10:05 am and reach Udaipur by 11:15 am. The return flight will take off from Udaipur at 11:50 am and arrive in Navi Mumbai at 1:05 pm.

These schedules are well-suited for short leisure trips and business travelers who prefer same-day arrival convenience.

Why This Route Matters for Travel Agents

Udaipur continues to perform strongly as a high-value leisure destination, known for its heritage hotels, lakefront experiences, destination weddings, and premium domestic tourism appeal. More direct seat capacity from two major urban markets is likely to improve accessibility and booking potential.

For travel sellers, the new routes can support:

Faster city-to-city connectivity for FIT and family holiday demand
Better accessibility for wedding and event travel in Rajasthan
More competitive package pricing with reduced transit dependency
Improved options for corporate travelers combining business and leisure

Udaipur’s Rising Demand Strengthens the Case

According to the Rajasthan Department of Tourism, Udaipur attracted nearly 20 lakh domestic tourists and more than 1.6 lakh foreign visitors in 2025. That demand base makes the city an attractive addition to airline schedules, especially as Indian travelers continue to favor short-haul leisure breaks and premium cultural destinations.

The new services also broaden Udaipur’s direct domestic reach to seven Indian destinations, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Mumbai. For agents, this creates stronger multi-origin selling potential and better routing choices for clients across India.

What B2B Travel Professionals Should Watch

This launch is more than just a new route announcement. It signals how airlines are responding to demand from both established and newer airport catchments, while also unlocking fresh inventory for the travel trade.

New direct routes can help improve conversion for Udaipur holiday inquiries
Metro-to-leisure connectivity supports weekend and short-break packages
Direct access from newer airports may attract first-time flyers and premium travelers
Strong tourism numbers suggest sustained demand across peak and shoulder seasons

Operational Impact for the Trade

For consolidators and corporate travel planners, the value lies in simpler itinerary building and fewer connection-related disruptions. Direct services often improve schedule reliability for leisure groups, incentive travel, and tailored Rajasthan circuits.

Travel agents may also find stronger opportunities to bundle air with heritage stays, transfers, and curated sightseeing. As Udaipur remains a top choice for destination weddings and upscale leisure travel, added connectivity should support better lead conversion and higher average booking value.

CONCLUSION

IndiGo’s new direct flights from Noida and Navi Mumbai to Udaipur are set to deepen domestic connectivity and support growing tourism demand in Rajasthan. For B2B travel professionals, the routes offer a timely opportunity to build more convenient, competitive, and sellable Udaipur packages for leisure, wedding, and corporate clients.
