flyadeal Launches Mumbai-Riyadh Non-Stop Service

flyadeal, the low-cost carrier of Saudia Group, has officially begun non-stop flights between Mumbai and Riyadh. The new route makes Mumbai flyadeal’s second destination in India, following Hyderabad.

The launch is a notable step in the airline’s India strategy, especially as demand continues to rise for Saudi Arabia-bound travel, business mobility, and onward connectivity across the Kingdom.

A Stronger Link Between India and Saudi Arabia

The first Riyadh-Mumbai flight took off on October 3, 2026, operated by an Airbus A320neo. The route now runs five times a week, adding more than 7,400 seats each month between the two cities.

For travel sellers, corporates, and consolidators, this adds another practical option for passengers seeking affordable direct access to Riyadh with easy connections beyond the Saudi capital.

Five weekly flights improve scheduling flexibility for both leisure and business travellers.
Passengers can connect to Abha, Dammam, Jeddah, and Madinah on a single itinerary.
Through-check baggage makes multi-city Saudi Arabia travel more seamless.
The route supports growing demand from India’s outbound market to the Kingdom.

Flight Schedule and Connectivity Advantages

Riyadh to Mumbai flights operate on all days except Mondays and Fridays, departing at 12:55 AM and arriving in Mumbai at 7:40 AM.

The return service departs Mumbai at 8:40 AM and lands in Riyadh at 10:15 AM. These timings are designed to support onward connections within Saudi Arabia, helping travellers move smoothly to domestic and secondary destinations.

For B2B travel professionals, this schedule can be especially useful when building itineraries for Umrah-related travel, business trips, VFR traffic, and multi-city leisure packages.

Aircraft and Onboard Product

flyadeal is operating the route with its Airbus A320neo aircraft in an all-Economy Class layout with 186 seats. The aircraft features USB-A and USB-C charging ports, along with Airbus Airspace cabin features such as larger overhead bins.

That product mix suits cost-conscious passengers while still offering practical comfort on medium-haul international routes. For agents, the value proposition is straightforward: direct connectivity, modern cabin features, and competitive fare positioning.

Why This Route Matters for the B2B Travel Market

India remains one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world, and Saudi Arabia has become one of the country’s most important outbound destinations. flyadeal’s expansion into Mumbai reflects the strength of that demand.

Sanjiv Kapoor, Acting Chief Executive Officer of flyadeal, noted that the airline sees significant opportunity in connecting more travellers through convenient, affordable, and reliable services. He also highlighted that Saudi Arabia is now among India’s top international travel markets.

For travel agencies and corporate booking teams, the launch creates new opportunities in:

Saudi business travel and project movement
VFR and family travel to the Kingdom
Leisure bookings with onward domestic Saudi connections
Religious travel support via Saudi gateway airports

Current India Operations and Network Outlook

flyadeal also continues to operate five weekly flights between Riyadh and Hyderabad, strengthening its footprint in India. With Mumbai now added, the airline is building a more relevant network for Indian travellers looking for direct access to Saudi Arabia.

The airline’s broader Saudi network and airport positioning also add value. Jeddah’s Terminal 1 offers rail access to Makkah and Madinah, while Riyadh’s Terminal 4 supports connections across the carrier’s domestic network.

This makes flyadeal a useful option for agents designing cost-efficient itineraries with multiple onward touchpoints.

What Travel Professionals Should Watch

The Mumbai-Riyadh launch signals continued growth in Saudi-India aviation demand. It also reflects a wider trend: Middle Eastern LCCs are increasingly important in connecting Indian metros to regional hubs.

For B2B sellers, this means more inventory choices, more competitive pricing opportunities, and stronger route diversification for clients travelling to Saudi Arabia.

CONCLUSION

flyadeal’s Mumbai-Riyadh service is more than just another route launch. It is a strategic addition to the India-Saudi aviation corridor, offering agents and corporate planners a new non-stop option with solid onward connectivity.

As demand between the two markets continues to rise, this route is likely to become an important booking choice for business, family, and multi-city travel across Saudi Arabia.
