Centrum Air Launches Direct Hyderabad-Tashkent Flights

Centrum Air has strengthened its India footprint with the launch of direct Hyderabad-Tashkent flights, making Hyderabad its second gateway in the country after New Delhi. The move expands the airline’s India-Uzbekistan network to seven weekly services and gives South Indian travellers a faster, more convenient link to Central Asia.

The inaugural service took off on September 28, 2026, and was marked by a launch ceremony at Hyderabad International Airport. The event was attended by airport officials, customs representatives, GMR stakeholders and members of the travel trade.

Why This Route Matters for the Trade

For B2B travel agents, this is a timely development. Demand for Central Asia is growing, driven by leisure travel, MICE movement, cultural itineraries and emerging business links. A direct Hyderabad connection helps open a new source market beyond Delhi.

Uzbekistan continues to gain attention as an easy-to-sell destination thanks to its historic cities, visa-friendly positioning for many travellers, and good onward connectivity from Tashkent to other regional points.

Direct access from South India improves itinerary convenience and reduces transit friction.
Seven weekly flights between India and Tashkent create stronger scheduling flexibility for agents.
Tashkent can now work as a hub for multi-country Central Asia programs.
The route supports both leisure demand and trade-driven corporate travel.

Flight Schedule and Onboard Service

Centrum Air’s Hyderabad service operates twice a week. Flight C6 552 departs Hyderabad on Tuesdays and Fridays at 03:35 and arrives in Tashkent at 07:45.

The return flight, C6 551, operates from Tashkent on Mondays at 21:00 and Thursdays at 21:30, reaching Hyderabad at 02:20 the following day. All timings are local.

The airline also offers hot meals onboard, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, which is a useful selling point for agents positioning the product for family travel, corporate travellers and FIT passengers.

A Growing Opportunity for B2B Travel Partners

According to Centrum Air, the new route reflects the airline’s commitment to expanding in India and strengthening market access to Uzbekistan. The Hyderabad launch follows the airline’s earlier India operations from New Delhi, where it has been building frequency and visibility.

Aeroprime Group, Centrum Air’s Exclusive General Sales Agent in India, is supporting the growth through sales activation, marketing initiatives and travel trade engagement across key source cities.

For travel professionals, the practical value is clear: a second Indian gateway makes Uzbekistan more accessible, while also improving the chances of converting enquiries into bookings through shorter, direct, and more marketable flight options.

What Travel Agents Can Sell Around This Route

The new connection can be packaged into a variety of travel products for Indian outbound customers.

Uzbekistan leisure holidays featuring Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara
Central Asia round trips combining history, culture and soft adventure
Corporate and SME travel linked to trade, sourcing and business visits
Student, family and group itineraries with easier departure options from South India

CONCLUSION

Centrum Air’s Hyderabad-Tashkent launch is more than a new route announcement. It is a strong distribution opportunity for India’s B2B travel community, especially agents targeting South India and growing Central Asia demand. With seven weekly services now linking India and Tashkent, the airline has created better access, stronger schedule choice and more scope for selling Uzbekistan at scale.

For travel trade partners, this is the right time to build destination knowledge, refresh packaging ideas and position Uzbekistan as a high-potential emerging market.
